Basis of Hair removal by IPL Technology

The IPL uses Light based technology which destroys the melanin ( black pigment ) in hair and also the blood vessels which supply the hair root, this two pronged damage to the hair is unique to IPL technology which results in higher percentage of hair removal. We use the latest RF + IPL Technology for effective removal of white and light colored hair.

Long Pulse Nd YAG is a time tested hair removal laser which is useful for hair removal in face like upper lip, chin and smaller areas.

Diode 808nm Laser Super Hair Removal uses "In Motion" technology targeting the melanin in hair root and destroying the hair in the process. This technology is useful in large area hair removal like arms, legs, abdomen, back, faster than any laser and relatively pain-less and safer.

How does it feel during the treatment Its relatively painless and most patients describe the discomfort as moderate and acceptable. Sensations can be described as hitting with a rubber band with a sharp hot feeling. What should I expect after the treatment? Few burnt hair and slight redness around the hair units are seen. The hairs fall out after 1 -3 weeks . During this period the hair comes out like its growing but in reality the dead hair is being pushed out by the new epidermis. The hairs are loosened from its roots and can sometimes be easily pulled out with tweezers. How many treatments are necessary? Only the growing active hair is affected, therefore multiple treatments are needed. Treatment is conducted every 3-6 weeks until a satisfactory result is obtained. The number of treatments required varies, usually 6 -10 treatments are required for maximum result. Side effects? The skin can become red immediately after treatment. Dark skin patients might have some scabbing but they resolve in 4 days time. No permanent side effect is seen. Time taken for each treatment? Treatment can take from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on which area is being treated.
